I am so happy to announce that I am now doing a Refill Program for all shampoos and conditioners from InnerSense!
In case you didn't know by now, I am a proud member of Green Circle Salons, which is a program that recycles and repurposes 95% of the waste I use in the salon. Keeping with the spirit of recycling and reusing (which is a deep passion of mine), you can bring in your used bottles and refill at my salon at a discount of $8 off each bottle.
I am very excited to offer this program and hope that you decide to join in on my efforts to reduce waste.
If you have any questions please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I have created a couple of new products just in time for the holiday season.
My Women's Balance Blend Tea is a beautiful blend of herbs that are wonderful for women's overall health and well-being. Some of the herbal benefits include:
Red Raspberry Leaf: Used to treat menstrual cramps and irregular cycles. Also beneficial for reducing nausea and digestion while pregnant.
Oatstraw: Can reduce the risk of heart disease, increase energy and reduce anxiety
Horsetail Leaf: Supports hair, skin and nail health. Also helps strengthen the body's immune system
Along with the tea, I have created a soy-based wax candle with a lovely, warm oil blend of Saffron, Lemongrass, Ginger and Cardamom. I found a candle years ago while I was on a road trip that had this similar blend that I just had to make my own version of.
I also created two new soaps because why not..:)
The first is a unique multi-tone soap with my favorite blend of oils, Rose and Sandalwood. The other is scented with Rose Geranium which is very floral and somewhat of a sweeter version of Rose.
All products are now available only at Naked Eye Beauty Salon.
I have been incredibly grateful for all the amazing opportunities and adventures life has given me up until this point. Creating products was one of those opportunities that has not only gotten me in touch with my passion for clean and beautiful natural skin and hair care, but has also connected me to so many amazing women across Instagram, Etsy and beyond with the same love and passion. ⠀
Since starting my career as a salon based hairdresser and also the “career” as a full time mommy, I have begun to explore where my energy, time and sanity needs to be. Over the years, my products have sadly not received the love and care they need to flourish because of the demands of where my creative heart is going. ⠀
After reflecting back and forth about this painful decision, I have decided to officially step away from creating and producing my products at the end of this year. ⠀
I am always open to the universe and what it offers, who knows, I might start creating again in the future and do something completely different. But as of now, I think it’s an appropriate time for me to let this chapter come to an end and begin my life starting into the new year with full focus on my amazing clients who I love SO much at my new studio doing hair.
I will have my products website up until the end of December (which you can find here) and will be selling everything at my studio until it all has been scooped up. I will also be making my last appearance at Bitchcraft’s Winter Bazaar on December 8th if you’d like to come see me and say hi! I will be posting a flyer closer to the date.⠀
I will really miss this part of my life but I am so grateful to you all for your love and support over the last 8 years. Its been amazing connecting and sharing my love for natural, organic beauty with you all!
I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by fellow makeup artist Joyce Platon about how I got my start in the beauty industry, what influenced me to make my own products and the future of Naked Eye Beauty. I hope you enjoy it and find it inspiring! XO

I have had so much fun this summer doing some really great haircuts for my beautiful clients! I love a good before and after, so here are some of my favorites from the last month.
One of my goals this year was to start creating more content that will give some beauty inspiration thats easy and natural. Another goal was to also show my face a bit more so you all can see the real human being behind Naked Eye Beauty!
My hair is incredibly curly. Some days I really hate it, some days I just embrace and go with it. This video tutorial is how I style my hair to satisfy my dueling personality - I am a Gemini, after all :) You'll see my curly hair in all its glory and also how I like to style a more "relaxed" curly look.
All the products I used are from Innersense Organic Beauty, which is what I use and sell at my salon studio. You can find out more information about Innersense here. I absolutely LOVE their products because of the pure ingredients of course, but also because of how simple and versatile each styling product is. I don't believe you need a million products to style your hair, you just need maybe one or two that can work for different needs.
I hope you find this video inspiring/helpful/interesting! Please leave me any comments you have about styling and Innersense. I also would LOVE to know what videos you'd like to see from me in the future... I am cooking up some of my favorite makeup looks, some more ways hair styling tutorials, and even some natural beauty recipes you can make at home!
I get asked that question a lot! My hair powders are basically the same concept as dry shampoo except they are not in an aerosol form, they are in their most natural form which is a loose powder. Cornstarch and Arrowroot powder are the main ingredients, they absorb any oil or product build up and, if you ever use it in cooking, help thicken the hair as well. Baking Soda helps with odor absorption while Kaolin Clay acts as a thickening and volumizing agent.
My favorite way to use them is the shake a little bit into my hand, then rake through with my fingers, focusing on the areas of hair that need a bit of lift. You can also part your hair where you need the powder, sprinkle a little bit on, massage in with your fingertips, wait a few minutes, then brush out.
I've created a quick video tutorial using the Hair Powders for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
My doors are officially open as of June 19th! Its been a lot of hard work and planning to get this show on the road but I am SO excited for what the future holds for this little business.
Here are some photos I captured on my first day :)
Rosewater is a beautiful tonic of distilled rose petals, its scent is soft and easy, it hydrates the skin and refreshes on a hot day. But did you know you could also use Rosewater on your hair?
Because of the hydrating nature of the rose petals, it works fantastic as a leave in conditioner and hydrator for your locks. I also really love to use it on my clients as a prep before a haircut and blow dry.
One of my other favorite ways to use Rosewater is as a cleanser in the morning. I just soak a cotton pad and wipe my face, then Im ready for my SPF or Primer if Im wearing makeup.
I have created my own Rosewater spray available at www.nakedeyebeauty.store and at the salon for $16. One bottle with so many uses, its great for those with a minimal beauty routine.
If you have purchased my products online before, you may have noticed that my website has changed. Don't fret! Naked Eye Beauty is still available online here or at my Etsy store here. I also have pickup available at my salon in Los Angeles for those who are local and do not want it shipped. Just look above on the menu and check out the SHOP option.
You can shoot me an email at email@example.com or contact me here if you have any further questions. Thank you all so much for your continued love and support!
I am proud to be selling one of the best natural hair care lines I've been lucky enough to try, InnerSense Organic Beauty! This line is amazing for all types of hair, especially those with curly frizzy hair that needs some extra love.
My favorite products include the Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner, which is amazing for almost any head of hair, and also the Quiet Calm Curl Cream. It works well on curly hair that is left to air dry or you can use it to blow out your hair as well. Leaves hair super moisturized, smooth and frizz free. I use this one all the time! Some of the amazing ingredients they use are Aloe, Shea Butter, Tamanu Oil and Avocado Oil.
You can purchase the entire line at your next appointment or if you just want to pick up to replenish your stock, you can purchase it online here and pickup at my salon.

Beautiful bride Diane (who happens to be an amazing friend of mine and stellar babe behind BlackMagus.com) had a beyond gorgeous wedding in Hell's Backbone, Utah this past summer which I had the privilege of attending and doing her makeup and hair. Congrats to Mike and Diane, many years of health and happiness to you both!
Had the pleasure of doing bridal makeup for this beautiful bride, Youngmi, and her gorgeous family over the weekend. Young was having a vintage 1940's inspired wedding so I gave her and her bridal party glamorous old Hollywood style makeup while Felicia at Primrose Organics styled their hair in picture perfect retro updos.
I am so happy to announce that I am now taking clients at my new home base, Primrose Organics Salon in Los Feliz!
My amazing friend Felicia is the owner and head stylist of this uniquely eco-friendly and eco-chic salon using all organic and chemical free hair color and styling products from Organic Color Systems.
My current hours are Thursday-Saturday, 10am-6pm. You can book an appointment with me on Primrose's website, www.primroseorganics.com or call 323.664.5446
New makeup and hair work for this gorgeous bride, Cindy! She asked for a natural, smokey eye reminiscent of Kate Middleton and a sleek side bun.
Had the pleasure to work with my buddies Kii and Colin Arens on this new video for SWEETHEAD! I had a blast hanging out at one of my favorite bars in LA, The Monty, and working with the gorgeous Serrina Sims and her partner Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age). Special guest appearance by Jesse "Boots Electric" Hughes.
